Abstract
The purpose of this article is to describe a model for career development of workers in the trade. The proposed model is developed based on the survey data of conditions for career growth of the employees of the hypermarket. In this author's definition of the term "staff development". The model is implemented in stages. Of particular interest is the stage of selection tools, including the advanced technology development personnel. An important step, obviously, is the analysis of the results of the process, allowing, in case of positive outcome, apply the rotation or the delegation of authority in the activities of the researched group of employees of the commercial enterprise.
