Abstract
The authors identify the signs and formulate the concept of a preventive measure in the form of house arrest. The paper analyzes the controversial aspects of legal regulation of house arrest. The authors oppose complement the list of restrictions imposed under the house arrest, ban on visiting places of recreation and entertainment.
