Abstract
The article deals with the problem of establishing the terms of office of deputies of legislative (representative) bodies of state power of subjects of the Russian Federation. It is noted that 84 subject of theRussian Federation established the maximum possible term of office of deputies of their legislative (representative) bodies - 5 years, and only one subject of the Russian Federation (Nenets Autonomous Area) set a term of office of deputies of legislative (representative) body in 4 years.
