Abstract
The article deals with the concept of project management as the most effective way to achieve the objective, taking into account constraints of time, cost, resources. two levels of project management are allocated - operational and project. Only the combination of both levels
contributes to the success of the project activities. Selection of an appropriate project management is only possible after getting acquainted with the most common design methodologies, which include the traditional methodology of serial management, classical management, flexible and changeable management, process management and some other species. When you select a project methodology is important to take into account the peculiarities of the project team and the essence of the current project. There are two ways of choosing the right design approach. The essence of the first method is that it is necessary to evaluate the final project goals and objectives, as well as the results to be obtained and on the basis of this information, select the appropriate project management. The essence of the second method is that it is necessary to study and analyze the past success of the project team and determine what helped her to achieve it. It is important to understand what kind of workflow makes the team more productive. Models of the development and implementation of projects is very multivariant, precisely because there is no universal only right and proper methodology for any project, because every project has different internal and external starting conditions.
