Abstract
The article examines the essence of the state (municipal) financial control. The analysis of economic crimes, as well as the dynamics of the volume identified by the audit chamber of financial irregularities in the implementation of external state audit (control), which prove the importance of implementation of state (municipal) financial control in the modern system of budgetary relations as one of the key methods of combating corruption at the present stage.
