Abstract
The article deals with current socio – demographic problem of modern Russian society – the elderly. With retirement, people lose their social mobility, are difficult for him to adjust to the realities of modern life, this is superimposed on a lonely life and the problem is greater. Through the design of volunteer activities, we will consider the possibilities of improving the quality of life of older people.
