Abstract
Nowadays searching the features of the sports centers design for winter sports is an important problem, as skiing is advancing very rapidly. The article reviews the main factors influencing the design principles of buildings for winter sports and tourism in the mountainous areas, accentuates the space-planning and structural concepts of ski resorts.
