Abstract
In this article, the explanation of the concept "tax" is made, its essence and functions for the purposes of the taxation are also considered. Dynamics and structure of receipt of tax payments in the consolidated budget of the territorial subject of the Russian Federation for 2014-2015, both in all levels of the budget, and in the consolidated budget of Primorsky Krai is analyzed. The practical importance of article is connected with assessment of economic changes of receipt of tax payments for the analyzed years, and also assessment of their effect on future periods.
