Abstract
The article presents the results of the analysis of the application of the fundamental categories of the theory of security in the Federal law on strategic planning in the Russian Federation. The study helped to clarify some features of the law on strategic planning, attesting to the wide use of the concepts of security theory, the relationship between the text of the law the concepts of "security", "protection", "threat", "danger", "risk", "harm", "damage", "security", "stability".
