Abstract
The article discusses the challenges and opportunities of pedagogical modeling in solving the tasks of socialization and self-learning, dealing with hockey. Results refined definition of the categories of "socialization of the student in charge of hockey" and "self-learning, engaged in hockey." Obtained pedagogical conditions optimal use of pedagogical modeling in solving the tasks of socialization and self-learning, dealing with hockey.
