Abstract
The paper contemplates on some particular forms of the direct address which were once used in the Russian language. The problem touched upon in the paper is particularly important nowadays for one cannot find a unified form of the direct address in the modern Russian language. The analysis shows that it is common for the modern Russian language to use the forms of the direct address which were widely spread in the twentieth century.
