Abstract
This article is devoted to the problem of formation and development of financial centres as centres of large-scale capital flows. The article discusses the main reasons why regional financial centers gained control over financial flows and basic financial transactions due to which regional financial centres entered a global level. Thus, this paper describes the main regularities of the formation of financial centers on the way to their world domination.
