Abstract
The article reviews all types of loan help for peasants and handicraftsmen, held by the local authorities (‘zemstvo’) of the Vyatka province in the end of the XIX – beginning of the XX centuries. The main forms of this help are mentioned – credit for peasants, handicraftsmen and cooperatives. The author also links to some drawbacks in the handicrafts loaning organization.
