Abstract
The article aims to examine the psychometric features of a technique of diagnostics of personal characteristics of drivers. The empirical basis of the study was the phenomenon of secure driving a vehicle. The description of the diagnostic indicators of the author's personality questionnaire assessing the reliability of the driver (discipline, self-control, responsibility, aggressiveness, risk-taking, desire for self-assertion, energy, arrogance, anxiety), and the interpretation of data on the ten-scale. Diagnostic tools allow to extend the possibilities of a predictive assessment of hazardous management style of the vehicle drivers, and if necessary to carry out the necessary corrective work.
