Abstract
In this article, the major factors and threats, which are negatively influencing an economic situation in the country, are considered. The estimation of the impact of Western sanctions and «anti-sanctions" on the economy of the Russian Federation. The urgency and expediency of forming the strategy ensure the safe functioning of the economy in the conditions of the crisis. The fundamental documents aimed at the development of a trade policy of Russia are analyzed. Influence of sanctions on maintaining and development of the Russian business is characterized.
