Abstract
The paper contemplates processes of modern globalization. Emergence of concept of tolerance is offered in response to continuous change and crossing of cultural borders. However the tolerance often doesn't promote mutual understanding, it participates in the cultural competition of the global world. The world of the competing national cultures offers prospect global "cultural competitions".
