Abstract
In times of crisis the attention of management is focused on reducing costs. However, the savings for environmental activities can lead to economic damage caused by the accumulated environmental threats. The closeness of business entities weakens their competitiveness. The introduction of environmental accounting will allow you to control the environmental responsibility of business, to identify cases of environmental dumping, as well as the timely implementation of environmental protection measures.
