Abstract
This article describes the debt relationships' complex, into which enter households at the macro level. Special attention is given to overdue debt of Russian citizens before credit and banking institutions, fiscal authorities, housing and communal facilities. The functions of the collection activities and of the institution of personal bankruptcy in the domestic economy are defined.
