Abstract
The article discusses how to place a monetary penalty of one witness guarantees to appear to the person conducting the proceedings of the case, in his call. Analysis of the measures of procedural coercion revealed a number of shortcomings in its regulation of the Russian proceedings. The authors propose to: significantly increase the size of the penalty, to unify its size in all types of proceedings to establish responsibility for failure to appear on the impossibility for good reasons.
