Abstract
The article investigates the contradictory nature of the process of making investment decisions, addresses issues related to the problem of the relation of profitability of investment projects and its dependence on the degree of risk. The methods of calculating the level of profitability of investment projects, the major modern standards of risk management and provides a brief statistic on the profitability of the venture investment fund of the Russian Federation in 2015 2016's.
