Abstract
This article reveals the essence, goals and objectives of public relations in the sphere of state and municipal administration, given the current level of development of PR-technologies and the situation in the country. The article describes the specifics of the use of PR-technologies in the public and municipal management, identifies marketing differences in the public sphere of commercial marketing and determines the basic directions of PR-activity in this area.
