Abstract
The article presents a comparative analysis of the content of essential (zinc, copper) and toxic (lead, cadmium) and trace elements in the soils of the Orenburg region. Identified elevated concentrations of zinc and copper in the soils of the regions East of the Orenburg region. There is a lack of these micronutrients in the Central and Western zones. The average content of toxic elements lead and cadmium in all areas of the Orenburg region within the limits of permissible concentrations.
