Abstract
The article describes the current position of the Russian military-industrial production in the world market for weapons, analyzed statistics sales volumes in the industry, experience in promotion of products of Russia's military-industrial complex. In the end, the authors work, come to the conclusion the competitiveness of Russian weapons, the presence of factors that stimulate the development of the Russian military-industrial complex, as well as the prospects for Russia's withdrawal at the leading position in this market and the export potential of its products.
