Abstract
The article reveals the features of using of differential approach in the Soviet Polytechnic School. The research allows us to approve that the differentiation according to the students` interests and abilities, age differentiation and profile differentiation were used in the Soviet Polytechnic School in the 20-ies–30-ies years of the XX-th century.
