Abstract
The article focuses on improving the reliability of machinery and steel structures by improving the quality of the state of the surface layer of the material. To further improve the reliability of operation of machines and metal is recommended to apply the method of laser - plasma treatment. This method has advantages over other methods of removing corrosion layer in connection with the exact local surface layer removal, purification products of complex geometric shape, as well as less time consuming.
