Abstract
The article deals with the study of the role of the writer's biography in the study of literature. In particular, the focus is on the discovery of the connection between the author's personality and the ideological content of the work. This approach contributes to a better understanding of the historical conditions under which it was created or that product, and better assimilation of the ideological and artistic conception of the work.
