Abstract
The article is devoted to problems of formation of the content of the ecology course in vocational pedagogical university. The authors have developed and justified the model of selection of content of educational discipline «Ecology» based on the allocation of didactic invariants. The relevance of the study is due to the necessity of formation of students’ General cultural competence. The novelty of the research lies in the highlighting scheme invariant part of the course of ecology. The algorithm of selection of the content discipline is described. The results of experimental studies of the effectiveness of the developed model are shown. Proposed pedagogical conditions necessary for successful implementation of model of formation content of the discipline «Ecology».
