Abstract
This article describes the functionality of a popular distance learning system (LMS) Moodle and reveales its problem in reporting. The article also describes the process of monitoring the efficiency of usage of the embedded modern educational technologies. Examples of some types of reports describe the importance of this process. In accordance with the requirements of the monitoring process, there is a need to develop an information and analytical plugin to extend the monitoring abilities and its quality features.
