VERTICAL INTEGRATION OF PRODUCTION AS A KEY CONDITION MODERNIZATION OF RUSSIAN ECONOMY

Abstract
The article studied existing approaches to defining the essence of vertical integration, presents characteristics of its various types, identified the benefits and potential risks of this kind of association. Was calculated multiplier value added of major foreign and Russian vertically integrated structures, substantiated a significant role and place of such companies in the economy of developed countries. Determined priority directions of and tools of formation of vertically integrated companies in Russia.
