Abstract
Extensive use is not destroyed by natural petrochemical plastics creates a problem of their utilization, thereby increasing the adverse effects on the environment. Consequently, there is currently a need for biodegradable materials to mitigate environmental synthetics. Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHAs) the family of polyesters which are naturally synthesized by organisms. Due to their high biodegradability, biocompatibility, thermal plasticity, elastic, piezoelectric and optical activity, PHA attracting increasing attention from industries and research organizations that have already obtained excellent achievements in the field of materials and medical applications. Biomaterials are an important new trend, which can help to avoid pollution caused by non-degradable plastics.
