Abstract
The article is about the importance of volunteering in the life of all people. The author examined problems associated with the motivation of joining into volunteers community, the most popular areas of the volunteers activity are taken place in the article. It is told about the Сenter of the support and development of the volunteer movement in State Pedagogical University named after L.N. Tolstoy, with the aim to involve students in socially useful activities, coordination of their activities, as well as helping students to develop and implement social projects.
