Abstract
In the 70-ies of XX century at the Department "Building constructions", Ufa state oil technical University Professor A. F. Polak has created a scientific school, where great attention was paid to further studies on the improvement of test methods and durability design. Namely, the modernization was the installation of Polak" for the study of concrete corrosion in liquid media. Currently, the Department concludes the installation of the retrofit installation, for which a patent is sought. Based on the development of the Department to study the kinetics of corrosion carbonation of concrete, recognized three teachers of the Department in recent years has defended their theses.
