Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of the surface area of the vertical and horizontal projection shapes crowns of pine trees, as this issue is an integral part of the morphological structure. Form crowns projections correspond to two geometrical shapes (rectangle and circle). Formulas for determining the area of vertical and horizontal surfaces of crowns of pine trees in vysokopolnotnyh stands.
