AbstractIn fact, the least studied aspects of causes of dental caries are remain the evolutionary and genetic sides. In the study of some structural parameters of the maxilla-dental complex of mammalian animals and humans revealed that the more active the animal crawls, so it has long jawbones and dental arches. It revealed that the reduction of the masticatory apparatus lead to appearing teeth with increased solubility of enamel. Thus, it contributes to the defeat of caries. Preclinical diagnosis and prognosis are an important element in the prevention of dental caries in children.Keywords: dental caries, enamel solubility, preclinical diagnosis and prognosis, reduction, the masticatory apparatus of mammalian animals and humans
