Abstract
The article is devoted to the research made on the meaning of trust in the family system functioning. The purpose of the research was to distinguish the existence of the link between the family members' value orientations and their trust to each other. Empirical research has proved the aforecited connection between the trust level and consistency of spouses' value orientations. Study results can be both used in analysis of family problems and family counseling.
