Abstract
Methods of metallographic, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron microprobe analysis investigated the influence of compaction of powder mixtures of the starting materials on the structural and phase change materials synthesized by SHS. These results suggest about the community of previously observed phenomenon of "thermal hysteresis" burning rate in reactions SHS. The reported study was partially funded by RFBR according to the research project No. 15-42-00106.
