Abstract
The choice of literary texts for use at the lessons of Russian as a foreign language is of great importance due to the fact that the text involves both linguistic and content information. The text is the medium, through which implemented one of its main functions – communication, which promotes the development of language skills, willingness to engage in dialogue, etc. In the process of working on artwork, students are introduced to the structure of the text, its idea, the history of creation, and therefore they develop logical thinking, practical language acquisition.
