Abstract
The paper considers employing of short films for Creative writing in a foreign language. The problem of the motivation for Creative writing in a foreign language is urgent nowadays and must be solved. We see the solution to this problem in employing short films in a foreign language (in particular in German). Short films are valuable education materials owing to such advantages as short running time, conciseness, expression and other. The phases of Creative writing with short films and the selection criteria of visual materials are considered. Finally, the key findings are analyzed.
