Abstract
The author considered peculiarities of investment process and developed the model aimed at the activation of investment processes on regional level. The main aspect of this model consists in the fact that investment process is influenced by regional investment climate. On the one hand investment climate is a part of regional competitiveness; on the other hand it is composed and influenced by some factors (capital mobility, regional financial markets, regional institutions).
