Abstract
Quite a wide range of types of PR-activities that accompanied the work of industrial enterprises, rooted in the history and livelihood caused by the objective processes of economic development of society. It follows that any industrial company operating in a market economy, ever has a choice to isolate the structure of its management of public relations department, delineating it from similar types of work, such as marketing, human resources, advertising and more. This selection is reflected in the formation of a separate structural unit in the company's management system.
