Abstract
As a result of the analysis of scientific literature the modern directions of researches in the field of formation and development of plantings are established: ecological assessment of plantings; development of plantings; dynamics of various processes in planting; structural features of plantings; a krone role in development of plantings; growth and development of the root sphere of plantings; influence of various factors on properties of soils; balance of nutritious elements and carbon in plantings; condition of forest territories.
