Abstract
Key sources of financing of budgetary institutions: financing at the expense of means of budgets of corresponding level and financing at the expense of own sources. The article investigates the activities and features of the planning and financing of the municipal budget institution of culture. Generalizes the main distinguishing characteristics of nonprofit public institutions and the influence on the concept, composition and recognition of the expenditures of such institutions.
