Abstract
The paper presents the results of studies of social status and psychological characteristics of students in the course of their professional development at the university. Revealed that, for today's college students are characterized by mounting on a professional and personal self-realization. High motivation among students to the principles of a healthy lifestyle, but with the modern social conditions of their application has some difficulties.
