Abstract
Japan is a unique country, which combines ancient tradition and culture with modern and advanced economy - the production of electronics, robotics, automotive. Over the past sixty years significant changes has happened in the Japanese economy, the country, showing the incredible economic growth in 80th plunged into a long period of crisis. The article describes the main features of the Japanese economy and the factors that influenced it.
