Abstract
The article considers the development of social responsibility of big business of Ukraine in the context of world experience. Social sections of corporate strategies and missions of the leading companies of Ukraine are analyzed. The author concludes that big business in Ukraine has no awareness of its social role and responsibility in mental, theoretical and practical levels. Attempts to develop corporate strategies of social responsibility are purely mechanical and directed to an external (in relation to the country) effect. Corporate strategies of social responsibility do not meet modern world standards primarily on a fundamental level of ideology and values. Suggestions on the development of corporate social responsibility in Ukraine were developed.
