Abstract
This article discusses investments in the nanotechnology industry of the country. Brief description of the main innovation centers of the Russian Federation, highlighted the main features of investment in nanotechnology, the analysis of the disadvantages of this type of activity. The following section discusses the government's influence on the development of nanotechnology at the legislative level as well. Analyzes public expenditure on innovative projects and, as a consequence, the conclusion about the role of nanotechnology in the economy.
