Abstract
The paper shows original method of calculation of the motion and heating of the particles in the plasma flow based on the dimensionless similarity criteria in the plasma jet and empirical models. Semi-empirical model allows you to make adjustments to the numbers of similarity to the experimental data, of particular practical importance for selection of process equipment has solution to assess the performance of the plasma torch, formulated in the form of a thermal test the effectiveness of the plasma jet.
