Abstract
The paper considers the economy of networking in tourism industry. The effect of networks in tourism sector is assessed at the microeconomic level and at the regional level. Authors propose the appropriate methodology for evaluating the effect. Evaluation of the effect on the micro level allows for economy on transaction costs and growth in the volume of sales. Methods for assessing the effect on the level of region as a complex socio-economic system are based on the calculation of the integral index, which takes into account various socio-economic aspects of tourism development. An example of calculations is provided.
