Abstract
Market growth of robotics systems, and an increasing level of complexity of mechatronic systems requires the use of new types of actuators. This article discusses a number of materials with shape memory, and provides a comparative analysis of solutions is given. The possibilities of the use of materials considered as "artificial muscles" in robotics with detection limits and definitions of promising areas for further development.
