Abstract
The article presents the results of research on psychometric indicators of the Russian version of the M. Atkinson’s scale of emotional maturity. The emotional maturity scale of M. Atkinson can be attributed to the techniques of positive psychology, although formally this author does not position itself as a positive psychologist. The number of points indicates the level of emotional maturity, which, according to the theory of M. Atkinson, along with the ability to awareness of the present moment, is a component of "true happiness".
